Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has announced a new recruitment notification for 2026 under its Homeland Security and Smart City Business SBU (HLS&SCB). This recruitment drive aims to fill 56 vacancies for the positions of Field Operation Engineer (FOE) and Project Engineer-I on a temporary/contractual basis. These positions are primarily for project sites in Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, though candidates must be willing to travel across India.

Vacancy and Eligibility Overview

The notification specifies 25 vacancies for Field Operation Engineers and 31 for Project Engineer-I. Eligible candidates must hold a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (4-year course), M.E/M.Tech, or MCA in disciplines like Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, or IT. A significant requirement is relevant post-qualification experience: 5 years for FOE and 2 years for Project Engineer-I, specifically in Networking, Data Centers, or Database Administration.

Selection Process & Remuneration

Selection will be based on a Pre-Registered Walk-In Selection process consisting of a Written Test (85 marks) followed by an Interview (15 marks) for those who qualify the written round. Successful candidates for the FOE role will receive a starting consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000 per month, while Project Engineers will start at Rs. 40,000 per month, with annual increments and additional insurance allowances.
