The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially declared the results for the District Statistical Officer (DSO) and Assistant Director recruitment examination 2025. This competitive examination was conducted to recruit 47 qualified professionals for the Planning & Development Department of the Bihar Government. The Preliminary exam serves as the first filter in a multi-stage selection process that includes a Mains written exam and document verification. Applicants with a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics were eligible to compete for these prestigious Level-9 pay scale positions.

• Visit the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission at bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
• On the homepage, look for the notification dated 03 November 2025 regarding the DSO/AD Preliminary Results.
• Click on the link to download the Result PDF containing the Roll Numbers of successful candidates.
• Use the 'Find' (Ctrl+F) function to search for your specific Roll Number.
• Download and save the PDF for future reference during the Mains examination registration.

The commission has also released the category-wise cut-off marks along with the result. Candidates who have secured marks above the threshold will be eligible to appear for the Mains examination, the dates for which will be announced shortly by the BPSC.
