HPSC PGT Computer Science Recruitment 2026 - Exam Schedule Released

The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has officially announced the new examination date for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Computer Science. As per the latest notification (Advt No. 23/2026), the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 1672 vacancies across the state of Haryana, providing a significant opportunity for candidates with a background in Computer Science and Information Technology.

Candidates who successfully submitted their applications between February 16, 2026, and March 09, 2026, are eligible to appear for the test. The selection process is comprehensive, involving a Screening Test, Subject Knowledge Test, and an Interview. It is mandatory for candidates to have qualified the HTET or STET in the relevant subject to be considered for the position. Applicants are advised to keep their Enrollment Number or Registration Number ready to download the admit cards, which will be released shortly on the official HPSC portal.

The eligibility criteria require an M.Sc in Computer Science, MCA, or B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT with at least 55% marks. Age limits are set between 18 and 42 years, with applicable relaxations as per Haryana government norms.
