The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the progression of the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASHASVI) 2023-24. This prestigious scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT/SNT) categories. Students currently studying in Class 9 and Class 11 are the primary beneficiaries of this scheme.

PM YASHASVI Result and Selection Process

While the entrance examination originally scheduled for September 29, 2023, was cancelled by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the selection process was transitioned to a merit-based system. The merit list is being prepared based on the marks obtained by students in their previous qualifying exams (Class 8 for Class 9 applicants and Class 10 for Class 11 applicants). Candidates can now check their results and scorecard on the official portal using their application number and date of birth.

Key Benefits and Eligibility

Eligible students can receive scholarships up to Rs. 75,000 per annum for Class 9/10 and up to Rs. 1,25,000 per annum for Class 11/12.
