Punjab & Sind Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification

Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB) has officially announced its recruitment drive for the year 2026, inviting applications for the engagement of 635 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This represents a significant opportunity for young graduates across India to gain hands-on experience in the banking sector. The recruitment is spread across 29 States and Union Territories, providing localized training opportunities. Eligible candidates must possess a Regular Graduation degree from a recognized university. Notably, the selection process is purely merit-based, calculated on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination, meaning there is no written competitive exam for this engagement.

Key Highlights and Eligibility

Applicants must be between 20 to 28 years of age as of May 1, 2026. The bank offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300 for a training duration of 12 months. It is mandatory for candidates to complete 100% profile registration on both the NAPS and NATS portals before submitting their application on the PSB official website. The online application window is open from May 21, 2026, to June 6, 2026. Candidates should ensure they are proficient in the local language of the state they apply for, as this is a prerequisite for selection. This apprenticeship is a training program and does not guarantee permanent employment within the bank.
