The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the release of admit cards for the Civil Services and Indian Forest Service (IFS) Mains Examination 2025. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications and are preparing for these highly competitive examinations can now download their hall tickets directly from the UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in.

This recruitment initiative aims to fill a significant total of 1129 posts across various prestigious services, including the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and the Indian Forest Services (IFS). The Mains Examination for the Indian Forest Service is scheduled for 23rd November 2025, with the corresponding admit cards made available on 07th November 2025. For candidates appearing in the IAS Mains, their examination was set for 22nd August 2025, and admit cards were released on 14th August 2025.

Eligibility criteria for these coveted positions generally require a Bachelor's Degree in any stream from a recognized university for the IAS. For the IFS, candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in specific science and agriculture disciplines, such as Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, or Agriculture. The application process for these exams commenced on 22nd January 2025, with the final date for online applications being 21st February 2025.

The application fee was set at ₹100/- for General, OBC, and EWS categories, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH, and female applicants were exempted from the fee. Applicants must have been between 21 and 32 years of age. The comprehensive selection process involves three distinct stages: a Prelims Examination, followed by a rigorous Mains Examination, and finally, a Personality Test (Interview). It is imperative for all candidates to download and print their admit cards, ensuring they carry this along with a valid photo ID to their respective examination centers on the day of the exam.
