The Bihar State Health Society (SHSB) under the Bihar Swastha Vibhag has officially announced the exam date and released the admit cards for the recruitment of Ophthalmic Assistants. This recruitment drive aims to fill 220 vacancies across the state. Candidates who successfully registered for the positions between August 14 and August 28, 2025, can now download their Bihar SHS Ophthalmic Assistant Admit Card 2025 from the official website.

Exam Schedule and Details

The written examination is scheduled to be conducted on 20th December 2025. The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) lasting for 120 minutes. It is crucial for candidates to download their hall tickets early to check their assigned exam centers and reporting times. To download the admit card, applicants must provide their Application Number and Date of Birth on the portal.

Selection Process & Salary

The selection process involves a comprehensive CBT exam followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the CBT. Selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated pay of ₹15,000/- plus additional allowances as per government norms. Applicants are advised to carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination hall.
