The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the Interview Letters for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I, II, and III recruitment drive of 2026. Candidates who successfully cleared the written examinations and are awaiting their interview call can now download their letters from the official IBPS website, ibps.in. The interview letters were made available on 23rd January 2026, with interviews scheduled to take place during January/February 2026.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a substantial total of 13,294 posts across various officer scales and positions. The selection process for these coveted roles includes a Preliminary Examination, a Mains Examination, followed by a Personal Interview, and finally, Document Verification. Aspiring candidates had initially applied for these positions between 01st September 2025 and 28th September 2025, with the application window extended to accommodate more applicants.

The written examinations for Officer Scale-I, II, and III were conducted on 28th December 2025, following the preliminary exams for Office Assistants in December 2025 and Officer Scale-I in November 2025. Results for various stages have progressively been released, leading up to this crucial interview stage. Candidates are advised to download their interview letters promptly using their Roll Number/Application Number and Date of Birth.

Eligibility criteria varied by post, primarily requiring a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant stream from a recognized university. For certain specialized Officer Scale-II positions (like IT, CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing, Agriculture), specific degrees, minimum percentages, and relevant post-qualification experience were mandated. The age limit for applicants, calculated as of 01st August 2025, ranged from 18 to 28 years for Office Assistants, 18 to 30 years for Officer Scale-I, 21 to 32 years for Officer Scale-II, and 21 to 40 years for Officer Scale-III.

The application fees were ₹850/- for General/OBC/EWS categories and ₹175/- for SC/ST/PH categories. The remuneration for selected candidates is attractive, with salaries ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹37,442/- per month, in addition to various allowances such as HRA, DA, and TA as per government norms.
