RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025-26 Overview

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the results for the Junior Engineer (JE) Computer Based Test (CBT I) under the Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) 05/2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 2569 vacancies for Junior Engineer positions across various railway zones in India. Candidates who appeared for the first stage examination conducted in February 2026 can now download their scorecards and check their qualifying status for the next stage.

CBT II Exam Schedule and Selection Process

As per the latest notification, the RRB JE CBT II Exam Date is scheduled for 02 July 2026. This stage is crucial as it focuses on technical abilities and core engineering subjects. The selection process involves two stages of computer-based tests, followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination. Candidates are advised to keep their registration details handy to download the admit card, which will be released four days prior to the examination date.

Eligibility and Fee Structure

The recruitment was open to candidates holding an Engineering Diploma or Degree in relevant trades. The application process concluded in December 2025. Notably, the RRB provides a partial fee refund for candidates who appeared in the Stage I exam, with General/OBC candidates receiving 400/- and SC/ST/Female candidates receiving a full refund of 250/-.
