The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the Exam City Details for the recruitment of Constable (GD) 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a massive 25,487 vacancies in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, NCB, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Candidates who applied for the notification between December 2025 and January 2026 can now verify their examination venue location and date through the official portal.

Key Highlights of SSC GD 2026 Recruitment

The selection process for the General Duty Constable position involves a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. The written examination is scheduled to be held from 27 April 2026 to 30 May 2026 across various centers in India. Recently, candidates also participated in the slot selection process between 11 April and 15 April 2026 to choose their preferred examination timings.

• Login using your Registration Number and Password or Enrollment Number and Date of Birth.
• Navigate to the 'Admit Card/Exam City' tab.
• View your exam date, shift timing, and city name.

Please note that the detailed Admit Card will be released 3-4 days prior to your specific exam date. Ensure you carry a valid photo ID proof and a hard copy of the hall ticket to the examination center.
