UP SWD Free Coaching Entrance Exam 2026 Overview

The Social Welfare Department (SWD), Uttar Pradesh, has officially announced the release of the SWD UP IAS / PCS Free Coaching Admit Card 2026. This initiative by the UP government aims to provide high-quality, free-of-cost civil services coaching to deserving candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories. The examination for the 2026 session is scheduled to be conducted on 05 July 2026 at various centers across Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility and Admission Process

Candidates who successfully registered between 18 May and 18 June 2026 are eligible to download their hall tickets. To qualify for this scheme, applicants must be residents of Uttar Pradesh, hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream, and have an annual family income of less than Rs. 6 Lakhs. The selection is based on a competitive written examination designed to test the candidates' aptitude and general knowledge, similar to the preliminary stages of the UPSC and UPPSC exams.

Instructions to Download Admit Card

To access the admit card, candidates must log in to the official SWD portal using their enrollment number, registration number, or date of birth. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center. The coaching program includes free residential facilities, library access, and expert guidance for IAS and PCS aspirants. Centers are located in major cities including Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, and Aligarh, with specific seats reserved for female candidates at the Aliganj center.
