The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2025 cycle. Candidates who appeared for the eligibility examination for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor between 25th June and 29th June 2025 can now download their scorecards. This qualifying examination is a gateway for candidates seeking teaching positions in Indian universities and colleges or pursuing research with a fellowship.

UGC NET June 2025 Result Overview

The online application process for this session was conducted from 16th April to 12th May 2025. Following the successful conduct of the Computer Based Test (CBT), the authority has released the UGC NET Result 2025 on 21st July 2025. Candidates must log in using their Application Number and Date of Birth to view their qualifying status and total marks obtained in Paper I and Paper II.

Eligibility and Selection Process

To qualify for the UGC NET, candidates generally require a Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). The selection is based on the aggregate performance in both papers. The top 6% of candidates are typically declared NET qualified, while a smaller percentage qualifies for the JRF based on high merit. Along with the results, the NTA has also published the Category-wise Cutoff Marks and the final answer keys for all 83 subjects.
