Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi has officially issued the admit cards for the Uttar Pradesh B.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination (UPBED JEE) 2026. This entrance test is conducted for candidates seeking admission to the two-year B.Ed. degree courses across various state and government universities in Uttar Pradesh for the 2026-2028 academic session. UP B.Ed 2026 Exam Overview

The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2026. This year, Bundelkhand University is the nodal agency managing the admission process. The test consists of two papers designed to evaluate the candidate's general knowledge, language proficiency, aptitude, and subject-specific expertise. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center. No candidate will be allowed entry without these documents.

Admission & Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the UP B.Ed 2026 admission, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their Graduation or Post-Graduation degree. For those with an Engineering or Technology background, a minimum of 55% marks is required. The selection process is strictly based on the merit rank obtained in the joint entrance exam, followed by a centralized counseling process organized in June 2026.
