The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially released the hall tickets for the UP PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Written Exam 2026. This recruitment drive, under Advertisement No. 02/2022, aims to fill 624 vacancies in various government-aided secondary schools across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have been waiting for this examination since the application process in 2022 can now download their admit cards starting today, 6th May 2026, from the official portal at upessc.up.gov.in.

The written examination is scheduled to take place on 9th and 10th May 2026. The test will be conducted in an offline OMR-based mode across two shifts. It is crucial for candidates to download their UP PGT Admit Card 2026 well in advance to verify their allotted exam center, shift timings, and reporting time. To access the document, applicants will need their Registration Number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha code provided on the login page.

On the day of the exam, it is mandatory to carry a clear printout of the admit card along with a valid original photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID. Candidates are also advised to bring two recent passport-size photographs. Please note that electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates should reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure a smooth verification process.
