The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the exam schedule for the recruitment of 32,679 Constable posts. Candidates who applied for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2025 can now prepare for the written examination scheduled for June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. This recruitment drive covers various departments, including Civil Police, PAC (Armed and Special Forces), Jail Warden, and Mounted Police Horse Riders. The selection process is rigorous, involving a written test followed by a Physical Standards Test (PST) and Document Verification.

UP Police Admit Card 2026 Details

To participate in the examination, candidates must download their UP Police Constable Admit Card 2026 from the official website, uppbpb.gov.in. The hall ticket is a mandatory document that contains vital information such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam center address, and shift timings. To download the hall ticket, applicants will need their Application Number and Date of Birth. Additionally, UPPRPB will release an Exam City Intimation Slip prior to the admit card to help candidates plan their travel to the assigned cities.

Eligibility and Exam Overview

The recruitment was open to candidates who have passed the 12th (Intermediate) examination. The written exam consists of 150 objective-type questions carrying a total of 300 marks. Subjects include General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude/Reasoning. Candidates should note that there is a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect answer. Successful candidates in the written round will progress to the physical tests, where male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run and female candidates a 2.4 km run within the stipulated time.
