The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the release of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Admit Card for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander positions for the 2025-2026 session. Candidates who have successfully cleared the written examination and the subsequent Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (DV & PST) are now eligible to appear for the PET stage. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4543 vacancies across various departments including Civil Police and Special Security Force.

UP Police SI PET Schedule 2026

As per the official notification, the Physical Efficiency Test is scheduled to be conducted from 29 June to 01 July 2026. Candidates can download their hall tickets starting from 23 June 2026 by using their Registration Number and Date of Birth on the official portal. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the designated PET center.

Eligibility and Selection Process

The selection process for UP Police SI involves multiple stages: a Written Exam, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and a Medical Examination. For the PET, male candidates are required to complete a 4.8 KM run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must cover 2.4 KM in 16 minutes. Applicants must ensure they meet the medical standards prescribed by the board to move forward to the final merit list.
