The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the Mains Admit Card for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers (LT Grade/TGT) for the year 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,466 vacancies across various subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science among others. The selection process for these prestigious teaching positions in Uttar Pradesh government schools involves a preliminary examination followed by a mains examination and document verification.

As per the latest notification, the Mains Examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 23, 2026. Candidates who successfully cleared the preliminary round and completed the mains application process between April 2, 2026, and April 17, 2026, are eligible to download their hall tickets. To access the admit card, candidates must log in to the official UPPSC portal using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination center. The admit card contains vital information such as the candidate's roll number, exam center location, reporting time, and specific instructions for the exam day. Candidates are advised to thoroughly check the eligibility criteria for their respective subjects, which generally requires a graduation degree in the relevant discipline and a B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
