The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the hall tickets for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 session. This national-level examination is the primary gateway for Indian nationals to determine their eligibility for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for appointment as a Lecturer (LS)/Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. The examination covers five major science subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

Exam Schedule and Hall Ticket Details

As per the official notification, the NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 18th December 2025. Candidates who successfully registered for the exam can now download their admit cards using their Application Number and Date of Birth. It is mandatory for all aspirants to carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination center. No candidate will be allowed entry without these documents.

Eligibility and Selection Process

The eligibility criteria require candidates to possess an M.Sc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD). The selection process is entirely based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by the release of a merit list. Successful candidates will be awarded certificates that are valid for a lifetime for Lectureship, while JRF certificates have a specific validity period for PhD enrollment.
