The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the admit cards and exam city intimation slips for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 cycle. This national-level examination is scheduled to take place on the 7th and 8th of February 2026. Aspiring teachers who aim to qualify for Level 1 (Classes 1 to 5) and Level 2 (Classes 6 to 8) can now access their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth.

Exam Overview

The CTET is a mandatory qualification for candidates seeking teaching positions in central government schools like KVS, NVS, and others. The examination consists of two papers: Paper I for Primary Stage and Paper II for Elementary Stage. Candidates have the option to appear for either one or both papers based on their eligibility. Admit Card: Candidates must carry a clear printed copy of the CTET Hall Ticket to the exam center along with a valid original photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID). Exam City: It is recommended to check the exam city slip in advance to plan travel arrangements. The detailed syllabus covers Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I & II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and Social Science/Science. No negative marking is applicable, making it essential to attempt all 150 questions within the 150-minute duration.
