The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and Delhi Police have announced the Self Slot Selection process for the Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/Tele-Printer Operator - AWO/TPO) Examination 2025. This significant recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 552 vacancies for eligible candidates across various categories. Aspiring individuals who have successfully applied for the SSC Delhi Police HC (AWO/TPO) Bharti 2025 can now select their preferred exam slots through the official website, delhipolice.gov.in.

The application window for this recruitment previously ran from 24 September 2025 to 15 October 2025, with fee payment accepted until 16 October 2025. The slot selection window is crucial for candidates, opening on 05 December 2025 and closing on 15 January 2026 (11:00 PM). The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for these posts is scheduled to take place between 15 and 22 January 2026, with admit cards expected in January 2026.

To be eligible for the Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) positions, candidates must have passed the 12th (Intermediate) Examination with Science and Mathematics, or possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Additionally, proficiency in computer operation is mandatory, including a minimum English word processing speed of 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes and basic computer functions like opening/closing PCs, printing, MS Office usage, and text modification.

The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 27 years as of 01 July 2025, with age relaxation applicable as per government rules. The application fee is ₹100/- for General, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC, ST, and Female candidates are exempted from paying any fee. The pay scale for selected candidates ranges from ₹25,500/- to ₹81,100/- per month (Pay Level-04), along with various allowances as per government norms.
