Eligibility and Qualifying Criteria

As per the official notification, Paper 1 is designed for teachers of Classes I to V, requiring a 12th-standard pass along with a professional degree like D.Ed or B.Ed. Paper 2 is for Classes VI to VIII, requiring a Bachelor’s degree alongside teaching credentials. MAHATET 2026 is a qualifying exam; candidates meeting the minimum cutoff marks determined by MSCE will be awarded the TET Certificate, which holds lifetime validity as per the latest government norms.
