NTA NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam and Exam City Update

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the latest updates regarding the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2026). Following the cancellation of the initial exam originally scheduled for May 3, 2026, the agency has now released a notification for the Re-Exam. The new examination date is set for June 21, 2026. Candidates who are registered for the MBBS, BDS, and other medical undergraduate courses must take note of the revised schedule.

Furthermore, NTA has opened the window for candidates to Update Exam City Details and present addresses between 15 May and 21 May 2026. This is a crucial step for ensuring that candidates receive a convenient exam center location for the upcoming test. It is mandatory for all aspirants to verify their details through the official portal. Applicants must have passed their 10+2 Intermediate examination with the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) group from a recognized board. The age criteria require candidates to be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2009. Please ensure you have your Aadhar Card ready, as it is compulsory for the examination process. New photo guidelines require a live photo or a clear passport/4x6 size photo with a white background, including the candidate's name and the date the photo was taken (post-January 1, 2026).
