NTA ICAR AIEEA PG and Ph.D Admission 2026 Notification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the exam city notification for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) AIEEA PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) entrance examinations for the academic year 2026. This announcement allows candidates to check the city where their examination center will be located, helping them plan their travel in advance. The entrance exam is a national-level gateway for students seeking admission into Master’s and Doctoral degree programs in various Agriculture Universities across India.

The application process for these courses commenced on May 8, 2026, and concluded on June 7, 2026. According to the official schedule, the examination is slated to take place on July 4, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates who successfully submitted their forms and paid the requisite application fees—ranging from ₹675 to ₹1300 for PG and ₹1075 to ₹2000 for Ph.D. depending on the category—are eligible to download the city slip.

Admission is strictly based on the merit list prepared from the CBT scores, followed by a comprehensive counseling and seat allotment process. To qualify for PG courses, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, while Ph.D. candidates require a Master's degree in their respective disciplines.
