The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the re-scheduled examination dates for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 9,970 vacancies for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot across various railway zones in India. Candidates who successfully registered for the recruitment are now awaiting their RRB ALP CBT 1 Admit Card 2026. As per the latest notification, the Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) is scheduled to be held on 11th March 2026. The exam city intimation slip, which provides details regarding the venue city and shift timing, will be made available on the official portal on 6th March 2026.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Overview

The selection process for the Assistant Loco Pilot position is rigorous, starting with the CBT 1, followed by CBT 2, a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. The CBT 1 serves as a screening test and consists of 75 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 60 minutes. Candidates are advised to note that there is a negative marking of 1/3rd for every incorrect answer. The syllabus encompasses Mathematics, General Science, Mental Ability, and General Awareness.

• Click on the link 'RRB ALP Admit Card 2026'.
• Log in using your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
• Your hall ticket will appear on the screen; download and take a printout for the exam day.

It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with an original valid Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID) to the examination center. Candidates should also ensure they reach the venue as per the reporting time mentioned on their respective admit cards.
