RRC SECR Raipur Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification

The South East Central Railway (SECR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Raipur has announced a significant recruitment drive for Trade Apprentices for the 2026 session. This recruitment aims to fill a total of 1644 vacancies across various trades in the DRM Office Raipur Division and the Wagon Repair Shop Raipur. Candidates looking for a career start in Indian Railways as apprentices can submit their applications online starting from 05 May 2026.

Eligibility and Educational Qualification: To be eligible for these apprentice positions, candidates must have passed their Class 10th High School/Matriculation examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Additionally, applicants must hold an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized NCVT/SCVT institute. The age bracket for applicants is 15 to 24 years, with specific age relaxations provided for SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates as per government directives.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be based on a merit list. This merit list is prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both. There will be no written examination or interview for this selection, making it a purely merit-based entry into the railway sector.

Application Procedure: Eligible candidates must register themselves on the official apprenticeship portal before applying through the SECR website. The last date to complete the online form is 04 June 2026. Applicants are advised to keep their scanned documents, including photographs, signatures, and educational certificates, ready for the upload process.
