The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator (JT), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), and Hindi Pradhyapak (CHT) Paper 2 Written Examination 2025. Candidates who successfully applied for the 437 available posts can now download their admit cards from the official website. This notification provides crucial details regarding the examination, eligibility criteria, application process, and important dates for aspiring translators and Hindi Pradhyapaks.

The application process for this recruitment commenced on June 5, 2025, with the last date to apply online being June 26, 2025. The examination for Paper 1 was conducted on August 12, 2025, and its results were declared on November 4, 2025. The current focus is on Paper 2, for which the exam city intimation slip became available on December 4, 2025, and the admit cards were released on December 12, 2025. The Paper 2 examination is scheduled for December 14, 2025.

Aspirants for these prestigious positions were required to meet specific educational qualifications, primarily a Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject, or a Master's Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level, along with a recognized diploma or certificate course in translation or relevant experience. The age limit for applicants was set between 18 years and 27 or 30 years, as on August 1, 2025, depending on the specific post and category. Relaxation in age limits is applicable as per government rules.

The application fee was set at ₹100/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates were exempt from paying any fee. The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Skill Test, followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary ranging from Level-6 (₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400) to Level-7 (₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400) based on their specific post. Candidates are strongly advised to download their admit cards well in advance and carry a printout along with a valid photo ID to the examination center.
