UPPSC GIC Lecturer Recruitment 2026 Admit Card Overview

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially announced the exam schedule for the recruitment of Government Inter College (GIC) Lecturers. Aspiring candidates who applied for the 1,518 vacancies can now prepare for the written examination scheduled for 07 June 2026. The selection process aims to fill positions across various subjects including Sociology, Geography, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for both male and female cadres. Candidates will be able to download their UP GIC Lecturer Admit Card 2026 during the last week of May 2026. To access the hall ticket, applicants must visit the official portal at uppsc.up.nic.in and enter their registration number and date of birth. The admit card will contain crucial information such as the candidate's name, roll number, designated exam center, and reporting time. It is mandatory for all examinees to carry a hard copy of the hall ticket along with a valid photo ID proof (like Aadhaar Card or PAN Card) to the examination hall.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The UP GIC Lecturer recruitment involves a multi-stage selection process including a written examination and an interview. The written exam is designed to test the candidate's command over their specific subject as well as General Studies. Following the examination, a merit list will be prepared for document verification. Successful candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹9,300 to ₹34,800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4,800, subject to government regulations.
