UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card 2026 Released

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the release of the UPSC Prelims Admit Card 2026 on May 11, 2026. This hall ticket is for candidates appearing in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026, which is a gateway to prestigious services like IAS, IPS, and IFS. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 2026, in offline mode across various centers nationwide. Candidates who successfully registered for the 933 vacancies can now access their admit cards through the official portal.

Exam Schedule and Shift Timings

The Preliminary exam consists of two mandatory objective-type papers. General Studies (Paper I) will be held in the morning session from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT/Paper II) in the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both papers to be eligible for evaluation. Candidates must reach the examination hall at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam as entry closes 10 minutes before the start time.

How to Download the Hall Ticket

To download the hall ticket, candidates must visit upsc.gov.in and navigate to the 'E-Admit Cards' section. You will require your Registration ID or Roll Number along with your Date of Birth to login. After downloading the PDF, ensure all details like name, photograph, and exam center address are clearly visible. In case of any discrepancy, contact the UPSC helpdesk immediately. Don't forget to carry a hard copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam center.
